mrSimon's project 'Your Mums Face' originally began as an attempt to create an 'album in a day' consisting entirely of tunes which would be 'socially-awkward'. 'Your Mums Face' was originally released in 2006 as a 10 minute EP, however after a few months, mrSimon enjoyed it so much that he returned and produced 5 more volumes.
Each volume originally had a vague theme. One (Tracks 1-10, CD.1) being 'noise to annoy mum' and Five (Tracks 21-28, CD.2) being 'end of an era'. However volume zero (Tracks 11-22, CD.1) were composed during a very grim period in mrSimon's life.
Over the years, the album has been provided on CD, in 'original volumes' and 'best of' collections. This definitive edition is presented as a 2 disc set, with all 60 original tunes, presented into as close to the original order as possible.
